Could on occasion need additional call. Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hoursWeekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotationRequired Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, WI RN License, required.Minimum Experience: 2+ year OR experience. Cardiac experience required. Prior travel experience Required. Charting/Equipment: Epic preferredUnit Specific Skillset: 21 ORs including all specialties. 3 CV rooms, 1-2 PV rooms 1-5 cases per day, 45/monthRequired skills: Cardiothoracic experience REQUIRED.. Critical thinking skills, motivated, strong knowledge of cardiac surgery. Off and on pump bypass graft cases, AVR, MVR, TVR, Full maze, minimally invasive maze, thoracoscopic/thoracotomy, pacemakers, TAVR, pericardial windows Ascending Aortic Dissections with subclavian cannulation. Pull case carts, downtime stocking, cleaning, ect. Potential to circulate general cases if downtime. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks, if needed.Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.Scrub Colors: any colorGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times.
