Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide pre/post procedural care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization and EP lab setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with procedural, PACU, and critical care expertise. This role offers evening shifts with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, and involves floating to multiple Cath Lab locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab.
Perform pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, Cath Lab techs, and the healthcare team to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety.
Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
Float as needed to EP pre/post care and other Cath Lab locations.

Skills:

Proficient in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care)
Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures
Knowledge of PACU and critical care nursing principles
Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Ability to operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
Competent in EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) documentation

Required Qualifications:

Active NY RN License
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; pre/post cath, procedural, PACU, or critical care experience preferred
Certifications: AHA - BLS, ACLS
