Position Title: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Bronx, NY 10467
Shift: Evenings | 8-Hour Shifts
Hours/Week: 37.5 Hours per Week

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide pre/post procedural care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization and EP lab setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with procedural, PACU, and critical care expertise. This role offers evening shifts with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, and involves floating to multiple Cath Lab locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab.
  • Perform pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, Cath Lab techs, and the healthcare team to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety.
  • Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
  • Float as needed to EP pre/post care and other Cath Lab locations.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care)
  • Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures
  • Knowledge of PACU and critical care nursing principles
  • Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
  • Competent in EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Active NY RN License
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; pre/post cath, procedural, PACU, or critical care experience preferred
  • Certifications: AHA - BLS, ACLS
  • Covid card
