Description
Travel RN – MS/Tele (Neuro/Stroke)
Chesapeake, VA
Unit: 6 South – MedSurg / Tele / Neuro / Stroke
Start Date: 03/16/2026 or later
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights
Options: 3x12 or 4x12
Weekend: Every Other
Float: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
Requirements (No Exceptions):
• 2+ years MS/Tele experience
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Must have acute care Neuro/Stroke experience
• EPIC proficiency – REQUIRED
• BLS & ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• Active VA or Compact License in hand
Unit Details:
• 30-bed unit | Adult/Geriatric population
• Patient Ratio: 1:7 (must be comfortable with this)
• Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Stroke care, Dysrhythmia management
• IV Start, Telemetry Interpretation required
