Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for an 8-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma facility. This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.
The ER RN will provide immediate stabilization and treatment while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary emergency team.
Schedule
- 3x12 Hour Rotating Shifts (Day/Evening)
- 36 hours per week
- Shift start times: 3:00 AM or 3:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday rotation as needed
- No on-call required
- 8-week assignment
Responsibilities
- Rapid triage and emergency patient assessment
- Stabilization of acute and trauma patients
- IV starts, medication administration, lab draws
- Airway management and support
- Monitoring and documentation of patient status
- Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Active Minnesota RN License (temporary license accepted if aligned with contract length)
- BLS (AHA only)
- ACLS (AHA only)
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
Additional Details
- Floating within the ER as needed
- RTO must be 7 days or less
- Level III Trauma setting
- Candidate must submit active certifications and skills checklist
ER RN – 8-week assignment. 3x12 rotating day/evening shifts (3 AM or 3 PM start). 36 hours/week. 2 years ER experience required. MN license required (temp accepted). BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIHSS required. RTO 7 days or less.
