Description
Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts. Able to insert and remove IV's. Education Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Experience · Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience- required · Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred Licences, Certifications, and/or Registrations (if applicable) · Licensed by the State of Mass Radiation Control Board · ARRT Registered- RT ( R) or RT (N) · ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography- preferred If no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to obtain CT License · CPR certified
