Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Multi-Unit (ICU, Step-Down, Med Surg, PACU, ER, Day Stay)
Department: ICU / Step-Down / Med Surg / PACU / ER / Day Stay
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week (traveler choice if extended offer)
 

Job Description:

Responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of nursing care to patients across multiple units including ICU, Step-Down, Med Surg, Day Stay, PACU, and ER. Maintains competencies required for each assigned unit and supervises/delegates care responsibilities to ancillary staff within their scope of practice.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent – Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience within the last 5 years in any of the following:
    • ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care
    • High-Risk Labor and Delivery
    • ER
  • Completion of a Critical Care Course (or equivalent experience) – Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Current RN license in state of practice – Required
  • BLS – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • PALS – Required within 60 days of hire or transfer
  • TNCC – Required (or enrolled in upcoming TNCC class)
  • Facility-specific ACLS – Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
