Description

GHR Healthcare is hiring a Radiation Therapist for a premier health system in Philadelphia, PA!

Job Details:

Mon-Fri 8 hour day shift.
FLEX Start time between 6am-8AM
13-week contract with option to extend

Job Description

Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures are in place.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations as needed.
Educate patients about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
Monitor patients during therapy sessions for any adverse reactions or complications.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Job Requirements

ARRT Certification
2 years with experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus
Will be paired with an experienced Rad Tech and training on 1 machine
