Description

Title: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Neuro

Location: Chicago, IL 60637

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift – 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM); rotating weekends; no block scheduling

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Interventional Radiology procedures with required Neuro experience
Assist with neuro-interventional cases and related advanced imaging procedures
Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for IR cases
Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
Complete required modules and annual training

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 1+ year of Interventional Radiology experience (less than 2 years accepted per job description review)
Neuro IR experience required
Appropriate state or national certification/licensure required for allied positions
Active Illinois license required (as applicable to discipline)
No license hits allowed (clean license required; Nursys must be attached, pulled within last 2 weeks)
RTO limited to no more than 3 days; no RTO permitted during first or last week of contract
Legal first and last name must be used for submission (background/badge requirement)
Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 7 months before returning as traveler
