Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MS / Telemetry

📍 Rome, NY

🕒 Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12s)
📆 Weekend Track – Must work every weekend

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a high-acuity Med Surg/Tele unit. Candidates must be confident managing cardiac patients, administering cardiac drips, interpreting EKG strips independently, and providing comprehensive wound care.

Floating to Med Surg is required.

Requirements

✔ Minimum 2 years current MS/Tele experience
✔ Active New York State RN license
✔ BLS (required)
✔ ACLS (required)
✔ NIH Stroke Certification (required prior to start)
✔ Strong IV skills (no IV team support specified)
✔ Travel experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms independently
Administer and titrate cardiac drips
Perform comprehensive cardiac and neuro assessments
Provide advanced wound care
Initiate and maintain IV therapy
Deliver safe medication administration
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Float to Med Surg as needed
