Description

Title: CVOR Tech

Location: Lebanon, PA 17042

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)

Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills and Requirements:

Function as a CVOR Tech in a Cardiac Open Heart Surgery unit.
Scrub and assist in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict aseptic technique.
Assist surgical team with instrumentation, specimen handling, and equipment preparation.
Follow Universal Protocol (Time-Out), sharps safety, laser safety, radiation safety, fire safety, sterilization/disinfection standards.

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required
Open heart experience required
Level I Trauma experience required
Experience with COVID patient care as needed.

Required Certifications:

NBSTSA (ONLY – NCCT not accepted)
BLS (AHA or ARC only)

Required Skills & Surgical Experience:

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Mitral valve replacement
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
Aortic aneurysm repair
Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR)
Angioplasty/Stenting
Atrial septal defect repair
Cardiomyoplasty
Laparoscopic cardiac surgery
Pericardial window
Emergency management in CVOR setting
