Position: RN Home Health
Location: New Port Richey, FL
Duration: 20 week
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Expected Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Traveler Weekly Pay : $2,000/week - $2,206 week for 40 hours
Local Pay rate: $46/hour- $48/hour

Job Overview:

We are searching for a reliable and compassionate home care nurse to join our team. The home care nurse’s responsibilities include performing patient visits and monitoring their conditions, conducting tests, and writing reports for the physician. You should be able to address all the caregivers’ concerns and make appropriate adjustments to the patients’ in-home management plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Traveling to patients’ homes and managing their care plans according to physicians’ instructions.
• Administering medication and insulin, and completing blood pressure, glucose, urine, and stool tests.
• Inspecting wounds, changing dressings, and handling personal grooming and hygiene.
• Testing for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection.
• Listening to the concerns of family members and answering their questions.
• Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.

Required Qualifications:

• Florida or Compact State RN License
• Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
• 2 year of experience in Home health setting as an RN
• BLS from AHA
• Must have home health experience with OASIS training and experience.
• IV skills and wound care
