ICU RN – Utica, NY | Nights | High-Acuity ICU Assignment
Start Date: April 6, 2026 | 13 Weeks | 48 Hours Guaranteed

We are hiring an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a high-acuity ICU supporting neuro, cardiac, surgical, and trauma patients. Ideal for nurses comfortable with advanced critical care equipment and complex patient populations.

🕒 Schedule

• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
• 48 Hours Guaranteed
• Block scheduling not guaranteed
• Floating required as needed (excluding Behavioral Health & ER unless holding)

📍 Important Notes

• Locals Accepted (Local rate applies within 75 miles)
• RTO must be included at submission
• Scrub Color: Navy

✅ Submission Requirements

• 2+ years ICU experience required (ICU / SICU / CTICU / Trauma ICU / MS ICU / Neuro ICU)
• Travel experience documented on resume
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver’s license matching candidate demographics
• Active NY RN License + NURSYS verification (all active RN licenses required)
• EPIC EMR experience required

📜 Certifications (AHA Required)

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

⭐ Preferred Experience

• Charge Nurse experience
• Cardiac/Heart experience – HIGHLY preferred
• Experience with CRRT & Prismaflex REQUIRED

• 42-Bed ICU
  • Neuro/Med: 22 beds
  • CTICU: 6 beds
  • Surgical/Trauma: 14 beds

Common Diagnoses

• Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
• Cardiogenic Shock, CV Surgery, AAA
• Trauma & major post-operative cases

Specialized Equipment

• CRRT (Prismaflex / NxStage)
• IABP
• Ventriculostomy & ICP Monitoring
• TTM (Arctic Sun)
