Description
Shift: 3x12 Day/Night
Rotating Shifts: Candidates are rotated every 2 to 4 weeks between day and night shifts. However, those who have a preference for night shifts may experience less frequent rotations.
Flexibility is a must.
Local Rate within 60 miles
Ratio: 1:2
2 years of experience
Certs Req: DC RN Licensure, ACLS, BLS
Pending DC license accepted
***MUST provide proof of pending status at time of submission and
***MUST have DC license in hand prior to start date
Weekend Req: every other weekend
Float Req: To other ICU or IMC, required to float to other units within level of acuity
Skills Req: Obtain 12 lead EKG, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy
We are a medical cardiology and advanced heart failure CVICU with patients who require life-supporting devices and medications, including those in cardiogenic shock, awaiting transplant, post-cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, and post-interventional cardiology procedures. We are flexible with orientation hours to meet the associate's needs and offer device certifications throughout the contract.
