Angiography / Cath Lab Tech – Travel

Charleston, West Virginia
13-Week Contract | 4x10 Day Shifts | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Angiography / Cath Lab Technologist to support an interventional vascular radiology suite within a major acute care teaching hospital.

This role focuses heavily on peripheral vascular and neuro-interventional procedures in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Ideal for a tech comfortable with advanced vascular interventions and complex endovascular cases.

Schedule

4x10 Hour Day Shifts
Monday–Friday
Typically 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
40 hours guaranteed
13-week assignment
On-call required (weekdays & weekends)
- Approx. 8 call days/month
- 1 weekend per month
- 30-minute response time

Unit Highlights

Interventional vascular radiology suite
3 procedural rooms
Average daily cases: 7–10
Teaching hospital environment
Level IV Trauma Center
Charting: Cerner
Hospital-issued surgical scrubs

Responsibilities

Assist with peripheral angiography/venography with intervention
Support EVAR & TEVAR procedures
Assist with carotid stenting
Support neuro-intervention including acute stroke and embolization
Perform EKG lead placement and access site prep
Maintain sterile field
Utilize vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
Operate fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred)
Maintain PACS, inventory, and equipment

Required Qualifications

ARRT certification
West Virginia State License (may submit pending; must be active prior to start)
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of recent experience
Strong Interventional Radiology / Angio experience
Experience with fluoroscopy and vascular interventions

Preferred

Vascular Intervention certification
Cerner experience
Experience in teaching or high-acuity facilities

Ideal Candidate

Confident in advanced vascular and endovascular procedures
Strong sterile technique
Adaptable to call requirements
Comfortable floating to nearby sister facility as needed

Angiography / Cath Lab Tech – 4x10 Days (7:30a–6p). 13 weeks. 40 hrs guaranteed. ARRT & WV license required (pending acceptable). BLS required. Strong IR/vascular experience required. Call approx. 8 days/month with 30-min response time. Floating possible.
