Shift: Nights (3x12s)
Schedule: 36 hours/week

Job Description

We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Surgical Specialty for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role focuses on caring for pre- and post-operative surgical patients on an acute care surgical floor.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
Administer medications and manage IV therapies
Care for post-operative surgical patients and manage surgical devices
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care

Requirements

Active RN License (OK or Compact License)
BLS Certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year RN experience
Acute care Med Surg experience required
Stepdown/PCU experience required
Experience with post-surgical care, drains, trachs, ostomies, and NG tubes preferred
ENT or Transplant experience preferred
