Travel Nursing Opportunity – RN II Case Management / Utilization Review (CNA)

Join a patient-centered care coordination team where your expertise and compassion directly impact patient outcomes. This role is ideal for a skilled RN who excels in discharge planning, utilization review, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Position Details:
Start Date: 3/30/2026
Schedule: 4x10 Days
Contract Length: 12.86 Weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess appropriateness of admission status and level of care using InterQual criteria.
  • Provide discharge planning services, coordinating with patients, families, and community agencies.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure appropriate utilization of hospital resources and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop individualized care plans and facilitate safe transitions across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, resources, and follow-up requirements.
  • Monitor clinical progress and advocate for patient needs, addressing barriers to care.

Role Overview:
This position combines case management with utilization review, including an occasional weekend rotation. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential to navigate complex clinical and social situations effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification (American Heart)
  • Knowledge of InterQual criteria and Medicare Conditions of Participation (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in case management or utilization review preferred
