🩺 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will assist physicians during complex image-guided procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and procedural safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting radiologists during interventional procedures
• Operating advanced fluoroscopy and imaging systems
• Preparing sterile fields and maintaining procedural safety
• Monitoring patients during procedures
• Ensuring radiation safety and infection control standards
• Supporting a wide range of minimally invasive procedures

🔬 Procedures Performed

You will gain experience assisting with advanced procedures such as:

• Kyphoplasty
• Port Placements
• Biopsies & Cryoablations
• Uterine & Prostate Embolization
• GI Bleed Embolization
• Thrombectomy
• Drain Placements
• Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
• Fistulagrams
• Cardiac & Electrophysiology Procedures

This is a high-skill procedural environment with strong professional growth.

📜 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

✔ ARRT (R) – Radiography Certification
✔ Texas MRT License (Texas Medical Board)
✔ BLS Certification
✔ Graduate of Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
✔ Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred

⭐ ADVANCED CERTIFICATION (Required Within 2 Years)

• ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional)
• ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional)
• ARRT-VI (Vascular Interventional)
