Description

Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: North Adams, MA
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) or 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Massachusetts. The RN will provide care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts
Must be flexible to work 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM as needed
36 hours guaranteed per week
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling not available

Responsibilities:

Provide emergency care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries
Perform triage and patient assessments
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
Active Massachusetts RN License required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA) required at submission
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
