Description
Position Details - ICU
Locals not accepted
Dysrhythmia exam required
Minimum years of experience required: more than 3 years in ICU
Travel Experience required - 2 years in similar acuity of care
Certs/Licenses: BLS/ ACLS
Schedule/Shift Details: Nights 7p-730a, every third weekend required
Call Requirement (if any): None
Can float between ICU and PCU
Unit Specific Details - ICU
Bed amount - 8
Drips - Vasopressors, Sedation / analgesia, Cardiac, Insulin gtt, Heparin, sodium bicarbonate, electrolyte replacement, paralytics, thrombolytics
Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used - Picc, A-Line, Dialysis lines, chest tubes, NG, Foley, JP drains, wound vacs
Machines - CRRT , Vents
Oxygen - NC, Mask, Non-rebreather, HFNC, Bipap/ CPAP, Vent ,Nebulizer treatments, inline suction, vent wean
Patient population - Cardivascular, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis/ Septic shock, Neuro conditions, Post surgical, Metabolic/ Endocrine emergencies.
Support staff (if applicable) - RN unit only, manager house supervisor Other Unit Information - May float to PCU, 24 bed PCU-Med-surg unit/ RN and PCT support
