Requirements

Experience

• More than 2 years of acute, inpatient, hospital case management experience within the last 5 years is required
• Strong medical background in ED and ICU preferred
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
• Travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Required Skills

• Inpatient case management experience
• Ability to manage RN case management responsibilities for adult inpatient and ED patients
• Comfortable supporting adult inpatient, ED, and pediatric populations when floating

Schedule & Work Requirements

• Start Date: ASAP (3–4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
• Start Day: Unit start dates are Tuesdays
• Shift: 5x8-hour shifts
• Ratios: 1:20–25
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Variable
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Floating: Yes – within scope to adult inpatient, ED, and Peds
• Block Scheduling: Possibly available by request

License Requirements

• Pending License Accepted: Yes – application must be submitted and received by the licensing board to qualify for the 90-day license exemption

Time Off (RTO)

• Maximum RTO: 7–10 days
• RTO will be added to the end of the assignment to make up the time

Preferred Systems Experience

• Epic experience not required but highly preferred

Patient Population / Diagnosis

• RN case management for adult inpatient and emergency department patients
