DESCRIPTION:
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours
Schedule Requirements
- Shift: Nights (3x12-hour shifts)
- Weekend Requirement:
- 2 shifts every other weekend
- Night shift weekends may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Experience Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years preferred
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
Licensure & Certifications
Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
Skills & Competencies
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response
- Telemetry monitoring (unit-based)*
- Remote telemetry monitoring*
- Rapid recognition and response to cardiac events
IV Therapy / Phlebotomy
- Starting and maintaining IV lines
- PICC line management*
- Blood draws and specimen collection
Medication Administration
- PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia) management
Neurological & Psychiatric Care
- Stroke / CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) patient care
- Neurological assessments and monitoring
Orthopedic Care
- Total joint replacement patient management
Professional & Clinical Practices
- Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
