- Primary Stroke & Chest Pain Center

🏥 Cath Lab Unit Details

Cath Labs: 2
Hybrid Peripheral / OR Rooms: 2
Charting System:
- EPIC (Required)
- Epic Cupid (Preferred)
- Alaris
- Omnicell

👩‍⚕️ RN Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years required
Must have experience with:
- Coronary cases
- Structural heart procedures
- Complex PCI
- Peripheral cases
First-Time Travelers: Accepted only if highly experienced

📜 Certifications & Education

Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
Education:
- Nursing program approved by Board of Nursing
- Active RN license with South Dakota Board of Nursing

Coronary artery disease
STEMI
Cardiogenic shock
Complex total occlusions
Diagnostic Cath procedures
Valvular disease
Renal disease
Carotid stenosis
Peripheral vascular disease
Limb salvage
Thrombosis disease
Impella insertion
LVAD insertion

👥 Patient Ratio

RN Ratio: 1:1

📅 Scheduling & Call

Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
Call Requirement:
- 1–2 days per week (4:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Every 4th weekend call (Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 6:00 AM)
Holiday: Possibly 1 during assignment

🧭 Orientation

4 days orientation
10-hour shifts
