Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse at The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus

Position Details

Shift Information

• Schedule: D/N rotating shift (3x12's)

  • 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Typically consists of 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores are required.
• A government-issued photo ID is required to carry while on assignment.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within a year of start.
• Fit Mask: Required within 12 months of start and updated annually.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap vaccine every 10 years.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 12 months of start.
• Drug Testing: Standard 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually.

Background and Reference Checks

• Background check required prior to start of assignment.
• Two references required from employment within the past year, from a manager or supervisor.

• Application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting related to the pending assignment.
