Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) 🏥

Job Description:
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. The COTA assists in implementing treatment plans designed to develop, recover, or maintain skills needed for everyday living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Implement treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients improve skills such as dressing, eating, mobility, and personal care.
• Monitor patient progress and report results to the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certification and state license (as required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
