Description

Responsibilities

Provide care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor patients throughout the procedure. Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care, including monitoring and sedation. Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring using devices such as IABP and Impella. Manage ventilator support for critically ill patients. Participate in STEMI call rotation with a 30-minute response time. Document patient care using EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare systems. Follow all safety and infection control protocols while working in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements

Experience
Cath Lab experience required
Preoperative and postoperative patient care experience
Experience with patient monitoring and procedural sedation
Advanced hemodynamic monitoring experience (IABP and Impella)
Ventilator management experience

Licenses/Certifications
Active RN License – State of Ohio
ACLS – American Heart Association
BLS – American Heart Association

Education
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
