About the unit(s): Unit Specifics

·         Number of Beds -: 12

·         Type of equipment - : Monitors, IV, CRRT, Blanket cooler, fluid warmer

·         EMR - Meditech 3- 12 hours shifts (rotating weekends) Protects Medsurg units at Wesley Woodlawn and ICUs and Wesley Hillside.

·         Floating Policy - Travelers float first over core staff.  

·         Patient experience requirements -Bedside Shift Report, AIDET, Communication about medication, Nurse Leader Rounded performed and coaching following rounds

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Requested Skillset: Ventilator competency, IV gtt competency, Critical Care Nurse

Must have Certifications – ACLS and BLS skills will not be considered for the role

Procedures performed on Unit: Dialysis line insertion, arterial line insertions, central line insertions, cardioversion, thoracentesis, chest tube insertions, etc.
