Description

Position: PCU / Stepdown RN – Miller 3

Start Date: April 6
Assignment Length: 16–32 Weeks

📅 Schedule

Every Weekend Required
Monday – Sunday scheduling
No block scheduling allowed
Must be willing to float to similar units

🏥 Unit Details

Unit: Cardiac Progressive Care / Stepdown
Focus: Telemetry / Surgical / Cardiac
Experience Required:
- Cardiothoracic & vascular experience
- Post-Op Day 1 open/closed heart patients (CABG)
- Manager may review candidates without A-Line experience if they have CABG post-op experience

📋 Requirements

2 years RN experience
1 year in PCU/Stepdown unit
Recent Level 1 Trauma hospital experience (within last year)
Epic EMR experience (within last 2 years – mandatory)

📜 Certifications

AHA BLS
ACLS
NIHSS (required before start)
PCCN – Preferred
