Registered Nurse – Invasive Cardiology

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures. Assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients in invasive cardiology settings.
Perform preoperative and postoperative care.
Monitor and sedate patients during procedures.
Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment such as IABP and IMPELLA.
Manage ventilators.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio.
ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association only.
Experience in Cath Lab nursing.
Proficiency in preoperative/postoperative care and patient monitoring.
Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
May need to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 250-300 lbs with assistance.
Ability to push/pull up to 500 lbs with assistance.
Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction).
Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products.
