Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a busy STEMI and Stroke receiving center with four catheterization labs. The technologist will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, neurovascular, and radiology procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and procedural efficiency.

This position supports cardiac, electrophysiology (EP), interventional radiology (IR), and neurointerventional procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional procedures.
Support procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, thrombectomy, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, neurointervention, and interventional radiology.
Operate imaging and fluoroscopy equipment during procedures.
Monitor patient status and maintain sterile field during procedures.
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and efficient procedural workflow.
Document procedures accurately using the Epic EMR system.

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience
First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications & Licensure

BLS
ACLS
ARRT (RCIS accepted)
Fluoroscopy Permit
Active State License

Schedule & Requirements

Variable start times
Monday – Friday schedule with on-call requirements
Weekend call (Saturday & Sunday) required
Floating between specialties within the lab may be required
Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
