Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinic
Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts
No Weekends | No Night Shifts
Pay: $55 – $80 per hour (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly regarded outpatient orthopedic clinic in San Francisco specializing in musculoskeletal and rehabilitative care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys hands-on patient care in a structured outpatient setting while working closely with physicians and an experienced clinical team. The clinic provides a collaborative environment, modern resources, and a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting
• Assist physicians during patient evaluations, examinations, and procedures
• Support efficient patient flow and clinic operations
• Perform phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and specimen collection
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Recent hands-on patient-facing clinical nursing experience
• Experience in outpatient clinics, specialty practices, or office-based settings
• Orthopedic or rehabilitation clinical experience
• Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
Preferred Experience
• Clinical nursing experience within the past 2–3 years
• Experience managing patient flow in a scheduled outpatient clinic environment
• Background in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or rehabilitation clinics
