CLIENT may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment with no penalty

Patients: 20 consults per day + follow ups (for the whole team). Mondays & Friday are the heaviest days.
Ratios: Workload divvied out by unit.
Common diagnoses: Pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, vascular wounds, surgical wounds, ostomies.
Experience: Must have 2 plus years experience inpatient clinical experience, Prefer wound care experience.
Primary areas of hospital covered: Inpatient setting
Typical Job Duties: Review consults, divide workload with peers, patient assessments (head-to-toe), collaborate with interdisciplinary team (doctor, SW, RNs, etc.), placing wound care orders, patient education, and more.
Equipment/Treatments: KCI wound vacs, wound care dressings, a lot of different dressing types and treatments.
Manager/Supervisor: Manager & Director of Wound Care is Tamara.
Shifts & Scheduling: Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5
Weekend Requirements: Weekends are optional.
Holiday Requirements: Optional
Is there a call or standby requirement?: None
Floating Requirements: All of inpatient- MS, PCU, ICU & OR as needed.
Scrub Color: Royal blue scrubs or casual dress.
Unit Specific Orientation: 1 day nursing orientation with IT; as much as needed with a preceptor.
