Unit:  CVOR/ANESTHESIA RN 
(this is more of an anesthesia RN and that they will be required to train and do the anesthesia parts of the job)
MANAGER INTERVIEW
Minimum Experience: 3 + year OR experience. Prior travel REQUIRED.
Required Certifications: AHA or ARC  BLS, ACLS, WI RN License or compact RN , required.
Charting/Equipment: Epic required ;Cell Saver, Belmont required 
Required skills: Strong OR /CVOR Circulating experience; Prior experience with conscious sedation a plus.  Assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation, sterile techniques with central lines, assisting Anesthesiologist with placement of arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains,  Swan Ganz catheters, starting IV's, drawing labs, setting up medication pumps, running Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I. Assisting Anesthesia with heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries.  

Anesthesia RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is critical in assisting our anesthesia providers throughout a variety of specialties with a main focus on the cardiothoracic program.

Unit Specific Skillset: 21 ORs including all specialties.  4-5 Rooms per day will be assigned.

On Call/Call-Back: On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week. Could on occasion need additional call. Response time is 30 minutes ready in the OR. A Vehicle is required for this positon due to the 30 minute response time.
