Pros
The unit is traveler friendly. It’s mostly made up of travelers. I immediately felt like family. All of my coworkers are super nice and oriented me to the unit well. The doctors and mid levels are very approachable and are happy to answer questions and teach. Management is willing to try and make your schedule to your liking.
Cons
There aren’t many cheap and safe places to stay in Henderson, so you’ll have to commute at least 40 minutes. The hospital is short staffed all around so it’s not uncommon for you to have 5-6 patients, or to board patients in the ED.
