Description
37.5hr/wk
WCN or WOCN highly preferred but not require, BLS required
Required to be proficient in pressure injury assessments, management and treatment
focusing on pressure injury wounds, interfacing as needed with the patients’ primary nurses and/or educators, as well as validating the staging, assessments, documentation, and treatments for the pressure injuries.
highest priority is addressing the opportunities for reducing and preventing pressure injuries.
Required to keep excel spreadsheet to document for each patient with a pressure injury for key metrics (e.g., staging, whether the pressure injury was hospital acquired or present upon admission, etc.)
1st timer + local ok
clinician will care for patients that are in the ICU unit with open heart surgery, heart and lung transplant cases, etc; needs to be proficient in the acute care/critical care setting
Will not be passing off patients needs to be flexible on end of shift time based on documentation, admits/discharges, staffing/scheduling needs
