Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 199 beds total, including a 22-bed ER and 32-bed Critical Care Unit
- Joint Commission Accredited
- Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Certified Primary Stroke Center
- Advanced imaging equipment: GE 64 and 512 Slice CT Scanners
- Documentation systems: Meditech, Change Healthcare PACS
- Year-round sunshine and outdoor recreational opportunities nearby
Unit & Job Details
- Unit: CT
- Work independently covering inpatient (IP), emergency room (ER), outpatient (OP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedure exams
- Cardiac imaging experience is a plus
- Procedures include all CT exams, CTA hearts, and Calcium Scoring
- No floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (highest required experience)
- Certifications:
- ARRT (R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- New Mexico State License in Radiography and CT
- Must be fingerprinted and undergo background check per New Mexico state requirements (14-day waiver possible with supervision)

- Orientation held weekly on Mondays
