CT Technologist Job Opportunity

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced CT Scan department with approximately 5 procedure rooms (2 in ER, 3 in main Radiology).
• Perform routine CT exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with other CT technologists; always working with at least one other CT tech.
• Use GE scanners (required) and Philips ICT (preferred).
• Utilize Cerner EMR and PACS DR systems.
• Approximately 25 cases per day depending on ER and inpatient volume.
• Floor-specific orientation includes at least 1 week of 1:1 training.
• Weekend work may be required depending on schedule, but not every weekend.
• No call, no holiday shifts, no floating.
• Work shift example: Thursday-Saturday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification and MRTBE CRT and CTCT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of core CT technologist experience required.
• Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience required.
• Prior travel experience required for certain specialties (ED, Neuro ICU) — note this role implies travel experience is preferred or required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR required.
• Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam 24-48 hours prior to acceptance (max 2 attempts). Failure results in 6-month disqualification in region.
• No facial piercings and only natural hair colors allowed.
• Must have own vehicle if on travel team.
• Candidates cannot hold multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Must have been off permanent staff at this health system for 12 months to be considered for travel assignment.

• The environment is fast-paced but with support from other CT technologists.
• Parking is assigned with shuttle service to the facility; night shift parking differs.
• Candidates must complete onboarding by the specified deadline or risk delayed start.
