8H day shift - This position is cross campus to Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital Gloucester. Position Summary: This role operates within a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care for patients in need of active treatment at our ambulatory clinic. -Supports ambulatory adult hematology/oncology, and medical day care populations -Placement and maintenance of PIV and Centrally Implanted Venous Access Devices -Maintains continuity of treatment based care from laboratory draws/monitoring, symptom management, to administration of chemotherapy and biotherapies -Provides IV supportive care including therapeutic phlebotomies, blood products and IV fluids -Ongoing patient and family education and reinforcement Requirements – Minimum of 2 year of RN experience. Superior assessment skills, competent in peripheral IV placement and care; central line access and maintenance. Current Massachusetts RN license required. BLS-AHA required. OCN/ONS preferred. No locals accepted. Epic experience required. Travel highly preferred. Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months, and in good standing, to be considered. No monitor techs available. Will be required to pass relias testing during onboarding (2 attempts) and day one pass/fail testing.
