Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry

Location: Glendale, CA

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)

Schedule: 36-48 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurses (RN) for a fast-paced acute care setting. Candidates must be flexible to float across units and demonstrate recent, hands-on experience within the specialty.

This is an Auto Offer position for qualified candidates who meet all requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
Float to other units as required based on patient care needs

Required Qualifications

Active RN License in the state of California
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Must have worked in the specialty within the last 3 months
Cerner EMR experience (required)
Strong competency in:
Med Surg nursing
Telemetry monitoring
Floating between units

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent (CPR / HS-BLS / RQI BLS) – Required

Work Environment

Acute Care Hospital
High-acuity Med Surg / Telemetry units
Floating required across similar units
Fast-paced clinical setting requiring adaptability

Schedule & Pay

Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
Hours: 36–48 hours/week

Additional Notes

Candidates must meet all requirements for Auto Offer eligibility
Strong preference for nurses with recent, continuous bedside experience
Ability to adapt quickly and work in a team-oriented environment is essential
