Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient | Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: April 6, 2026
  • Contract Length: 26 weeks (with strong potential for temp-to-permanent placement)
  • Employment Type: Travel Assignment
  • Compensation: $70+/hour (blended rate including stipends)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week (opportunity to work up to 40 hours)

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: Flexible (typically 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM to align with PTA schedule)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a well-supported outpatient clinic. This role is ideal for a therapist who is confident working with children and experienced in supervising support staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services to pediatric patients
  • Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team
  • Complete timely documentation and treatment planning

Clinical Team

  • On-site:
    • 1 PTA
    • 1 PT (administrative, treats as needed)
    • 3 OTs
    • 1 COTA
    • 1 SLP
    • 2 SLPAs
  • Off-site (schools/telehealth):
    • 2 SLPs
    • 1 OT
    • 1 COTA

Patient Care & Workflow

  • Session durations: 30–60 minutes
  • Dedicated scheduling team manages all bookings
  • Strong clinical support allows focus on patient care

Documentation & Productivity

  • EMR: Raintree (transitioning to Practice Pro in 2026)
  • Daily expectation includes:
    • ~90 minutes for documentation/treatment planning
    • Remaining time focused on patient care

Qualifications (Required)

  • Active or eligible Arizona Physical Therapist license
  • Pediatric experience – REQUIRED
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supervising a PTA preferred

Additional Information

  • COVID-19 vaccination not required
