Description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in New Bedford, MA who is currently seeking a qualified PACU RN to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: PACU RN

Description: The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.

Location: New Bedford, MA

Pay: $2,562 (Travel gross weekly pay)

Local hourly: $58/hr

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required pediatric PACU
BSN preferred. PALS certification required
