Description

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care in the Endoscopy/Special Procedures unit. Responsible for delivering patient care during procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role includes scheduled shifts and participation in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in Endoscopy and Special Procedures
Assist during procedures and monitor patient status
Ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards
Provide patient education and support

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 5 years of Endoscopy/Special Procedures RN experience required

Licenses/Certifications

Active RN License (Maine)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
