Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Direct Hire | Full‑Time | Night Shift
A Level II Trauma Center in Yuma, Arizona is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join its acute care ER team on the night shift. This role is ideal for ER nurses who thrive in fast‑paced environments, value teamwork, and are looking for long‑term stability with strong clinical support.
The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency and trauma care and supports a collaborative, patient‑focused practice environment.
Position Overview
- Permanent, direct‑hire role
- 36 hours per week (3×12s)
- Night shift
- 5 positions open
- Acute care Emergency Department
Shift Details
- 12‑hour nights
- 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Block scheduling not required
- No on‑call requirements
Compensation & Incentives
- Hourly range: $39.93 – $51.91
- Sign‑On Incentive Options
- $5,000 with a 1‑year commitment
- $10,000 with a 2‑year commitment
- Relocation / Housing Support
- 3 months of provided housing OR
- $5,000 relocation assistance (1‑year commitment)

Emergency Department Highlights
- 52‑bed Emergency Department
- Nurse‑to‑patient ratio: 1:5
- Trauma Level II
- EPIC electronic medical record
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
- Floating may occur to a nearby ER location (approximately 15 minutes away)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centered emergency nursing care.
- Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocol.
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and unit goals.
- Adhere to hospital safety standards, policies, and professional nursing practice.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- New graduates not accepted for this role
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or Compact)
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- TNCC preferred
