Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Unit Overview

Total Hospital Beds: 899
Staffing Levels:
- Acute Care: Average 7; target 14 (gap of 7)
- Inpatient Rehab Unit (IRU): 4; gap of 3
Patient Ratio: 1 therapist to 12–14 patients
Equipment: Standard acute care and rehab equipment (details provided during interview)
EMR: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have (non‑negotiable):

Acute care experience
Inpatient Rehab acute care or SNF background

Preferred (priority consideration):

ICU experience
Wound care experience

Patient evaluations
Treatment interventions consistent with acute care and inpatient rehab

Traveler-friendly and nurse-to-patient ratio is fair (only once I was Quaded but had a lot of help from Nurse Extern & Resource RN).

Cons

Move closer to the facility; traffic in the city is horrible, and the express toll costs can vary from day to day.
