Position Title: CT/XRAY Tech Dept: Radiology Location: John Day, OR 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required • Performs exams from start to finish. o Registers/Checks In Patient ? Checks authorizations and medical necessity. o Confirm order is accurate and has authorization. o Lab orders/results available within 30 days for CT and MRI exams with contrast. o Call and schedule patients according to department protocol. o Enter correct demographics and order into the RIS. o Perform exam according to the physician order and department protocol. o Notate appropriate documentation o Make exam available to Radiologists to be read via PACS o Complete exam within the hospital EHR. • Maintain Infection Control o Clean after every patient o Practice good hand hygiene o Wipe down high touch surfaceso Wear proper PPE • On Call o May be assigned on call standby shifts as needed by the department o Includes week nights and weekends. • Meet, Maintain and Exceed Department Competencies o Demonstrate Competency per modality via a checklist o Demonstrate Competency in IV starts o Scheduling o Using PACs
