Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Skilled Nursing (Night Shift)

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift contract assignment supporting both Medical-Surgical and Skilled Nursing units. This role requires flexibility to float between departments and provide high-quality care to adult and non-critical pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Med-Surg setting
• Provide care for non-critical pediatric patients
• Float to the Skilled Nursing unit as needed based on patient census
• Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR (required)
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
