About the unit(s):
· Number of Beds - 854
· Number of Staff – 120
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 15-20 RRT’s for Adult service lines and 3-4 RRT’s for NICU/Peds service lines
o Night Shift – 12-16 RRT’s for Adult service lines and 3-4 RRT’s for NICU/Peds service lines
· Patient Ratios – 10 - 25
· Type of equipment – GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices.
· EMR - Cerner
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· North Carolina Respiratory License
· RRT- Registered Respiratory Therapist
· BLS, ACLS, PALS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· NRP
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· RRT
Floating Area(s):
· All Critical Care units and floors
Dress Code:
· Scrub Color- Medium Gray/Pewter
Weekends and On call
· Varying weekends (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
