·        Number of Beds -  220

·        Number of Staff – 4 Full-time 3 PRN’s

·        Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 3 tech’s per shift

o   Night Shift -  Call

·        Patient Ratios –  N/A

·        Type of equipment – GE Vivid E9

·        EMR – Meditech

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·        Ability to perform complete adult transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.

·        Ability to provide portable echocardiograms in patient’s rooms.

·        Experience building structured reports for physician review.

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·         Experience administering ultrasound contrast such as Definity and agitated saline.

·         Operating ultrasound equipment for the physician during transesophageal echocardiograms.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         Adult transthoracic echocardiograms

·         Stress echocardiograms

·         Transesophageal echocardiograms

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·        ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

·        State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License

Dress Code:

·        Scrub Color/Attire -  Medical scrubs

Weekends and On call:

·        Weekends and On Call required
