Interventional Radiologic Technologist, New Grads accepted.
Location:San Angelo, TX

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 9am- 7pm + rotational call (shift negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment
• Prepare procedure rooms, ensuring all necessary sterile supplies and instruments are available
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards during all procedures
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Monitor radiation exposure and follow established radiation safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Continuously assess patient condition and respond appropriately during procedures
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and imaging results
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues to appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support colleagues and departmental needs

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification, (ARRT VI or IR) preferred
• BLS
• New graduates accepted
