Position Overview

A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers a guaranteed 30 hours per week, with variable shift scheduling based on facility needs. The OT will provide therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and create individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve functional abilities
• Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and mobility
• Document treatment progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
• Follow established standards of OT practice and facility guidelines

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience

Licensure

• Active state OT license required before the assignment begins

Certifications

• All standard Occupational Therapy certifications required per state regulations
