Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a leading Level I Trauma Center. This role involves caring for adult patients with trauma and complex surgical conditions, including transplant and orthopedic cases, in a high-acuity environment.

Key Skills:

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
Management of heparin and insulin drips
Wound care and wound vac management
Post-surgical and orthopedic trauma care
Tracheostomy care (preferred)
Experience with transplant and acute surgical patients

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of RN experience Level I Trauma experience required Travel nursing experience required Experience with trauma surgical and post-operative patients Experience in high-volume or teaching hospital preferred Transplant experience (liver, kidney, or BMT) required Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS TNCC (Preferred)
